Emily Simpson Had the Perfect Response to Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador's Shade of the New O.C. Housewives
"I find you very likable," Andy Cohen said of The Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer.
One of the newest members of The Real Housewives of Orange County has already received quite the shady welcome from the SoCal squad. Veteran O.C. Housewives Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador didn't exactly seem like they loved talking about newbies Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter during their recent appearances on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
So when Emily made her debut in the Bravo Clubhouse Monday night, one fan wondered what she made of Vicki and Shannon's apparent lukewarm reactions to herself and Gina (clip above). "You know, I've just got to do my own thing, and I just try to make friends and whoever wants to be friends [with me]," she said on the WWHL After Show. "Like, Gina and I are super close, and I love Kelly Dodd, so I just go with the people that are good to me."
Emily may be new to this whole Real Housewives thing, but she handled that O.C. shade like a pro. Even her fellow WWHL guest Brooklyn Decker was impressed with how she handled that potentially sticky situation.
For what it's worth, Andy Cohen seemed to be vibing with Emily during her inaugural visit to the Clubhouse. "I find you very likable," he told her.
In addition to Kelly and Tamra Judge having kind words for Emily, the RHOC newcomer is also tight with alums Gretchen Rossi and Lizzie Rovsek. She's even become fast friends with Housewives outside of the O.C., namely The Real Housewives of Dallas.
Find out what Kelly thought of Shannon's shadiness toward the newest O.C. Housewives, below.
