Tom Sandoval Shares an Update on What He’s Been Up to Following His Split from Ariana
The Vanderpump Rules cast member says he found “a little peace in nature.”
Tom Sandoval has apparently found solace in the great outdoors.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member recently left the city and embarked on a nature getaway that was jam-packed with all sorts of activities. We’re talking everything from zip-lining and archery to hiking and ropes courses. Tom documented the trip in a series of Instagram Stories and on his main feed, where he also provided a quick update on his post-breakup mental state.
“Nothing like finding a little peace in nature,” he captioned an Instagram carousel shared on April 21. “Today was pure magic.”
One of the photos showed the bar owner with his arms spread out while overlooking the scenic landscape. That shot was followed by a handful of rock-climbing pictures and a quick video of Tom dropping a “pro fact.”
“Just read in Men’s Health that if you paint your fingernails, it makes you a better climber,” he said before someone off-camera asked if the tip only applied to guys. “Yup, just for men.”
Friday’s post marks Tom’s first Instagram update since he released an apology letter to his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix. The Vanderpump Rules castmates officially called it quits last month after reports of Tom’s alleged infidelity surfaced. Though the former SUR bartender appears to be doing much better, Tom Schwartz recently revealed that his good friend and castmate was initially struggling with all the drama.
“I’m not trying to evoke any sympathy for Tom,” Schwartz said during the April 6 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “He knows what he did is disgusting, [and] he literally could not have handled that affair in any worse possible way. He knows he’s a monster for what he did. If you see him, give him a hug. Maybe he doesn’t deserve it, but give him a hug. He’s down bad.”
It seems Ariana has also been holding up well. The Florida native has had no trouble keeping busy with various career projects and fun outings with friends, including her epic Coachella weekend with Scheana Shay.
