Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix Both See This Very Big Thing Happening In Their Future
Kids? Marriage? Owning a home? The Vanderpump Rules couple look into a crystal ball and discuss what's next.
Love is still in the air for longtime Vanderpump Rules couple Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval. And when it comes to what might be in store for their future, there is definitely one thing both of them can agree on: they really want to own a home, sooner rather than later.
"I have a five year bucket list," Ariana told The Daily Dish earlier this season. "So my five year bucket list would be to own a house. To kick ass in the horse show ring — like really kick ass. I want to win the Derby. I want to have an awesome book out and be working on another one. I want to have a skincare company. And I want to just be living my best life. It's a lot, but I have five years. So, yeah, I'm really good at putting a lot of pressure on myself to do things. So I feel like if I have a five year deadline, I'll either do it ... or just change my plan."
In a separate sit-down with The Daily Dish, Tom totally agreed with Ariana's plan to become a home owner. "I want to get out of there as soon as possible," he shared. "That's one thing that me and Ariana are looking forward to is getting a house together: getting out of that apartment. Maybe [her brother] Jeremy [Madix] will take it over. I've polished that turd as much as I possibly can at this point. It's more polished than turd. It's good spot. It's a great location. I mean there's some furniture I'm definitely not bringing with me. I've put in a dishwasher, a microwave, back splash, new sinks, new lighting. It's not that bad."
With that in mind, Sandoval then revealed if anything has changed in terms of welcoming kids into their lives as well. Ariana opened up about her stance on becoming pregnant earlier this season. "I really do not want to give birth," she shared in a therapy session on the show. "That, to me, is, oh my god. No, thank you." She noted "everything" about it freaks her out.
Tom later shared in the Vanderpump Rules After Show he wouldn't mind becoming a dad, and mirrored in The Daily Dish interview what Ariana shared during the episode about her fears of pregnancy — with his own caveat on becoming a dad, as well.
"I'm not in that place yet, so it hasn't really become a big issue," he said. "I think her biggest thing is not really wanting to give birth and I understand. I mean, I don't but I get why she wouldn't want to. But I feel like with her, it's not completely out of the question. We'll figure it out when the time comes. I'd love nothing more than to raise a kid in that awesome apartment. Tom Toms my baby now."
With that in mind, Tom noted why he's a little wary of marriage. "I just know that if I started planning a wedding, it would consume my whole life for like 2 years. I'd want like the 'November Rain' situation," he said. "I'd want my train to be just as long as Ariana's, so it's almost like I'd rather not even bother. It's like, I love snowboarding and people are like, 'You should try surfing.' And I'm like, 'I could see myself getting too obsessed with it, so I'm not going to start."
With that in mind, Tom shared where he sees himself in five years: "Let's get Tom Tom up and rolling. Let's get in a house, then let's get another bar open."
