Jax Taylor Previews Vanderpump Rules Season 8: "Love My OG Family"
"You can definitely tell our original cast has grown," the SURver said of the first look of the new season.
The upcoming new season of Vanderpump Rules has Jax Taylor feeling nostalgic.
The SURver recently shared his reaction to the new sneak peek of Season 8 (clip above) released on Thursday, November 7 on Twitter. Though there's plenty of new drama and new faces, the preview has Jax looking back on his and his friends' time on the series over the past eight seasons so far.
"Wow, this is a good trailer, I gotta say... you can definitely tell our original cast has grown. 8 years and counting!!" Jax tweeted after the new season of Vanderpump Rules was announced. "Love my OG family."
Jax isn't kidding when he says the Vanderpump Rules crew is all grown up. Not only will we see him and Brittany Cartwright's wedding day quickly approaching this season, but Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz will also be celebrating their success in opening Tom Tom, Stassi Schroeder is now a bestselling author and in a solid relationship with Beau Clark, Ariana Madix moved into her dream home and has a new cocktail book in the works, and Lala Kent is focusing on her sobriety, music career, and home renovation.
Even though this clip seems to have made Jax recall good memories, it's packed with conflict among this longtime group of friends. The preview features fun flashbacks of Jax, Sandoval, Stassi, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, and Kristen Doute before showing heated moments shared between the pals from the new season. "This is years of friendship that I thought would last forever," Lisa Vanderpump teases in the first look at the new season. "Suddenly everything kind of turned upside down."
This could be an unprecedented season for Jax in particular when his friendships are put to the test like never before as he gets ready to say "I do." Jax will find himself particularly at odds with Sandoval as his best man plans an epic joint bachelor-bachelorette party in Miami.
In addition to everyone mentioned above, we'll also catch up with Scheana Shay and Raquel Leviss this season and meet new cast members Brett Caprioni, Charli Burnett, Dayna Kathan, Max Boyens, and Danica Dow in the new season of Vanderpump Rules.
Oh, you know that it's our time.
