Scheana Shay Weighs In on the Man Ariana Madix Was Spotted with at Coachella
Hear how Scheana really feels about her bestie and Daniel Wai.
Vanderpump Rules Season 10 has already been a wild ride, but as Andy Cohen assured viewers on the April 19 episode of Watch What Happens Live, things “only get crazier” from here on out. That applies to both the rest of the season and the highly anticipated reunion.
At the center of the drama is, of course, Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s breakup (as well as the role Raquel Leviss played in it). Fans certainly have some knowledge of what went down, but Andy insisted that there’s no way to properly prepare for everything that Vanderpump Rules Season 10 has in store for them.
That’s especially the case when it comes to Ariana’s side of the story. She has briefly addressed the split and Tom’s infidelity, but it won’t be until the former couple, Raquel, and the rest of the cast come together for the Season 10 reunion that everyone’s burning questions are finally answered.
That said, Ariana’s best friend Scheana Shay did have some important intel to share during her WWHL appearance on April 19. The two attended Coachella the previous weekend, and it was there that Ariana was spotted hanging out with a mystery man, who turned out to be fitness trainer Daniel Wai.
Ariana shared several photos and videos with him on her Instagram Stories throughout the three-day festival, and naturally, fans became curious about the pair.
Lucky for them, Andy did too. So he asked Scheana about Daniel, and she revealed that while Coachella marked her first time meeting him, she “love[d] him.”
Scheana didn’t have many additional details to share, but she did note that he lives in New York City. Anything else will have to come from Ariana herself!
Scheana may not have dished on Ariana and Daniel all that much, but she did have a few thoughts on another pair. Asked if she believes that Tom and Raquel are really “in love,” Scheana said, “No, I think they’re in this weird affair infatuation and it’s going to fade. It’s not going to last.”
“And from what I’ve heard,” she added, “it’s already very toxic.”
