See Raquel Leviss’ Self-Love Message: “Imma Keep Doing Me”
The Vanderpump Rules cast member said she has “found [her] voice” and is leaning into the “baddie” Raquel.
Raquel Leviss is turning a new leaf.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member took to her Instagram Stories on November 2 to explain why, pairing her inspirational message with a video of her dancing and posing alongside Tom Sandoval (who is, in turn, dressed as her — more on that here).
“Here’s two versions of me... little Miss Femme Raquel that you’re probably familiar with, but more recently I’ve been trying not to take myself so seriously,” Raquel’s caption began. “I’ve found my voice and I’m not afraid to lean into this new found ‘baddie’ Raquel.”
She continued, “It’s easy for me to laugh at myself because I am so proud of how far I’ve come in my personal growth journey. I used to care so much what other people thought of me and now I just DGAF.”
“Imma keep doing me,” Raquel concluded, “and I’m so grateful for the people who inspire me to do exactly that.”
The post came after a back-and-forth with Katie Maloney, which began when a fan-run Vanderpump Rules Instagram account shared a photo of Raquel wearing a Tom Tom shirt and Katie commented, “[She’s] a fan girl. Started as a fan of the show, now a fan of the [Toms].”
Raquel later issued an indirect response, writing, “I admit… I am a fan of the [Toms]” on another post. Then, replying to a comment asking if she meant Tom Tom or Tom Schwartz himself — who Raquel was rumored to be "making out" with at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ August wedding in Mexico — Raquel replied, “I’m definitely a fan of the restaurant… best vibe, food and drinks in WeHo in my opinion. But I’m also a fan of Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval!! Here to support their business endeavors.”
Raquel also made an Instagram post explaining her reasoning for wearing the sweatshirt in the first place. “Just came here to say that the number one reason I wore this TomTom sweatshirt on Day 3 of BravoCon was for the comfy vibes,” she captioned a slideshow of photos and videos from BravoCon 2022. “I also wore it to support BOTH of the [Toms] and encouraged people to stop by their booth to check out the rest of the cute merch. I really enjoy supporting my friends and being comfy at the same time.” She added hashtags that read “sue me” and “number one Tom Stan.”
