Vanderpump Rules Scores Multiple Emmy Nominations — Including One for *This* Episode
Following the show’s 10th season, Vanderpump Rules receives its first-ever Emmy nominations.
Fans of Vanderpump Rules are fully aware that Season 10 was one for the books, but it turns out that the Television Academy agrees, as the Bravo series earned its first-ever Emmy nominations on July 12 ahead of the 75th annual Emmy Awards.
Vanderpump Rules Season 10’s Emmy Nominations
The landmark 10th season of Vanderpump Rules, which largely focused on the drama surrounding Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ affair, as well as his split from Ariana Madix, led to the Bravo show being nominated for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program.
The latter category specifically recognized the editing on Vanderpump Rules Season 10 Episode 13, “Lady and the Glamp.”
What happened on the Emmy-nominated episode of Vanderpump Rules, “Lady and the Glamp”?
The Emmy-nominated episode of Vanderpump Rules Season 10 saw Lisa Vanderpump’s husband, Ken Todd, drop the now-infamous “mother of all gossip bombs,” as Lala Kent put it, about Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval.
More specifically, Ken told Lisa and Katie Maloney, “I can’t believe that Tom Sandoval had Raquel over when Ariana is away. And she stayed all night.”
The revelation sparked another memorable episode moment, which was Lala going through the timeline of events regarding Raquel staying at Sandoval’s house. Other key highlights from the episode? Sandoval praising Raquel during her birthday glamping trip, Ariana comforting Raquel as she cried over her pageant career, and Ariana telling Katie that she completely trusted Sandoval and Raquel and had no reason to suspect anything going on between them.
Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules — which featured Scheana Shay, James Kennedy, Tom Schwartz, Ally Lewber, Charli Burnett, and Kristina Kelly, in addition to Ariana, Sandoval, Raquel, Lala, Katie, and Lisa — has already led to the Bravo show being recognized by several other award institutions too. On June 30, the Television Critics Association released its annual award nominations, giving Vanderpump Rules its first-ever nod as the series scored a spot in the Outstanding Achievement in Reality category.
Stay tuned for more awards season news, and make sure you’re caught up with Vanderpump Rules before it comes time for ceremonies like the 75th annual Emmy Awards.
