James Kennedy Wants to Clear Some Things Up About His Relationship with Raquel Leviss

James Kennedy is no stranger to tackling tough situations, as the Vanderpump Rules cast member has definitely dealt with his fair share of ups and downs lately, including his recent breakup with Raquel Leviss about six months following their engagement.  Recently, James opened up about where his relationship stands with Raquel post-split, as well as confronting some of his past regrets.

When James appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday (January 11), along with Vanderpump Rules cast member, Lala Kent, he shared his thoughts looking back on the lavish proposal and revealed where things stand with both Raquel and Tom Sandoval today. During a round of “Do You Regret It?” on WWHL, host Andy Cohen asked James whether he regretted spending a small fortune on his proposal to Raquel.

As fans may recall, James had pulled off an extravagant Raquel-themed Coachella proposal with the help of Tom Sandoval, who dropped $25K on the event. Back in the Clubhouse, James told Andy, “I’ve got to clear this up, okay? I spent more money than Tom Sandoval did, in total." He went on to add, "I don't regret anything in my life. Everything happens for a reason. So, no regrets."

During the WWHL After Show, the subject of the proposal came up again after a virtual fan asked if James ever paid Sandoval back for his contribution to the engagement. The Vanderpump Rules DJ responded, in part, "No, I haven't."

As for where things stand with James and Raquel following their breakup, James shared an update on his relationship with his ex-fiancé on WWHL (clip above) saying that, though the pair both moved out of their apartment and were now living separately, they still kept in touch: "Raquel and I still remain friends after the breakup."

It appears as though, post-split, James and Raquel are both spending their time traveling. James recently offered a glimpse into his trip back to London, sharing several snapshots of his "very nostalgic" overseas trip.

"Lovely evening in London, swipe to the last slide for a top notch view," he wrote in the caption of his January 9 post. 

Raquel also took to Instagram to share some fun moments she shared with friends during her recent Las Vegas visit. "Vanderpump Cocktail Garden with [Jenny]. The goat cheese balls here are to die for! I’m also loving this Lychee Moscow Mule," she captioned her post.

She also shared some glorious Vegas hotel views, writing in the caption of her January 8 post, "View from Bellagio."
