Ariana Madix Sets the Record Straight on Her and Tom Sandoval’s Relationship
After hearing plenty of rumors about her relationship, Ariana is revealing the truth about their “nontraditional” connection.
There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s relationship, and the latter Vanderpump Rules cast member is now setting the record straight about it all.
In the Season 10 trailer, Scheana Shay repeats a rumor she heard from one of their friends. “Katie [Maloney] said you and Ariana have an open relationship,” she tells Sandoval.
While fans will have to stay tuned to find out when and how that rumor comes up (and to see how Sandoval reacts when it does), Ariana already debunked the “open relationship” accusation on Twitter shortly after the clip dropped.
“We don’t have an open relationship,” she tweeted on January 9. “I’m really not that cool. Thought that was obvious.”
Now she’s sounding off on some of the other things she’s heard about her love life over the years — including the simple fact that people just seem to think her relationship with Sandoval is much more complicated than it really is.
“I think people see my relationship with Tom… as nontraditional in a lot of ways, and they think there’s got to be more to it, you know?” she told Page Six at the Season 10 premiere party in Los Angeles. “[Like] I’m in the closet or Tom’s in the closet.”
The Drink From Home creator noted that she and Tom have always been “open about” their relationship, so they aren’t hiding anything from viewers.
“There’s really no other layers,” she added.
Now that Ariana has cleared the air about where things stand with her romantic partner, fans may be looking for an update on what’s happening with her soon-to-be business partner, Katie.
The pals are looking to launch their sandwich business, Something About Her, but Katie recently divorced Sandoval’s best friend and business partner, Tom Schwartz.
