Kandi Burruss Supports Toya Wright Following Family Tragedy
The #RHOA mom showed her BFF a good time following her brothers' death.
Following the tragic death of her two brothers, Toya Wright got in some much-needed girl time this week. Toya was joined by The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss and their pals, including Monica, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta's Rasheeda Buckner-Frost, and Tameka "Tiny" Harris, in the wake of the news that her siblings, Ryan "Rudy" Johnson and Joshua Johnson were found dead earlier this month. Their bodies were discovered in a car with with multiple gun wounds near where they lived in the seventh ward of New Orleans, according to local reports.
Monica showed her support for the Untying the Knot alum on Instagram, where she also shared photos from the gathering. "We are a reflection of one another, Father continue to order our steps. Pour into us the likeness of you Lord & allow your will to be done," she wrote, adding the hashtag #ToyaWeGotYou.
"When those you love experience heartache you surround them with the love. Happy to see my friend smile, even if it's just for a moment," she added.
The get-together must have helped Toya, who noted, "I was having a rough day and my girls made me smile....Love u ladies so much. #sisterfriends." According to Essence, a funeral for Ryan and Joshua was held last Friday. Toya later posted a tribute to her late brothers, calling them her "angels."
Toya and her estranged husband, Mickey, appeared on Untying the Knot in 2015. Back in June, she confirmed their plans to divorce. You can check the couple sitting down with Vikki Ziegler, below.
