Tom Schwartz Says He and Taylor Ann Green Have “a Rapport Going”
The Vanderpump Rules and Southern Charm cast members first interacted at BravoCon 2022. Hear Tom’s update on where they stand.
Tom Schwartz is giving fans of Vanderpump Rules and Southern Charm alike a much-needed update on him and Taylor Ann Green.
The two came face-to-face at BravoCon 2022 not long after Taylor revealed she had a crush on Tom. There, she boldly turned to Tom while onstage for a special edition of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, offered her hand for a handshake, and said, “I’m Taylor.”
Tom responded by admitting he was “blushing” — something he reiterated during a recent interview with Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “I knew who she was. I think I was just feeling a little bashful,” Tom said. “Honestly, I was put on the spot up onstage in the bright lights.”
Tom Sandoval chimed in during the interview, telling his BFF and business partner that he and Taylor “would be cute together.”
“Listen, she’s gorgeous,” Schwartz said. “We actually have, like, a rapport going. We’re friends now.”
At the same time, Tom said he’s “also very close” to Taylor’s ex-boyfriend, Shep Rose. “I have a really incredibly close relationship with all the guys from Southern Charm and Summer House,” Tom added. “So yeah, I felt a little awkward.”
Shep seemingly already gave Tom and Taylor the go-ahead, though. As he told E! News at BravoCon, “I love Thomas Schwartz — that would make me happy if she ended up with Thomas Schwartz,” Shep said. “My point is I’m not a jealous man. We had a great, great time. If she ends up with a very good guy that makes her happy, that would make me happy.”
Asked about the comment from Shep, Tom said, “I saw that. Can I say ‘no comment’? But no, she’s gorgeous. But I just feel like that’s not a good idea.”
Cue a joke from Sandoval. “Yeah,” he added, “but isn’t that why we’ve had a show for 10 seasons?”
Even so, Schwartz said he and Taylor are just friends for the time being, adding, “She’s incredibly beautiful, charming, and intelligent, but yeah, we’re just friends for now.”
