Tom Sandoval Addresses Claims He Was Rude to Stassi Schroeder's Mom Dayna
The Vanderpump Rules incident allegedly went down at Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's wedding.
Tom Sandoval and Stassi Schroeder have had their differences this season of Vanderpump Rules, and now it looks like Stassi's mom, Dayna Schroeder, has a bone to pick with him as well.
Dayna appeared to throw a little bit of shade at Tom on Instagram in March, claiming he "refused" to give her an umbrella at Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's wedding. "Don't like the daughter... take it out on her mother," Dayna wrote. "Not nice."
Tom responded to Dayna's claims during his appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on May 12, clarifying that he in no way intended to snub her at the wedding. "I grabbed every umbrella, I brought umbrellas myself, I grabbed every umbrella I could find at that castle. And I had brought fans and stuff. I was trying to hand them out to people, like I'm not gonna hand an umbrella and a fan out to the same person. I was trying to space it out," Tom explained. "But no, I was just walking around. No, if she took it that way, I didn't plan it that way."
His fellow WWHL: @ Home guest Ariana Madix added, "I don't think anybody else remembered that."
Jax and Brittany's wedding took place after Tom and Stassi had one of their most intense moments ever earlier this season of Vanderpump Rules. An argument broke out between the two when Stassi confronted Tom about some not-so-nice texts he sent prior to her book party at Tom Tom.
Tom said on WWHL: @ Home (clip above) that he "for sure" regrets sending those text messages to Stassi today. He also explained that his anger stemmed from "a lot of things" and "uncertainties" surrounding Stassi's event. "I don't see that I had so much as a temper tantrum; I just freaked the hell out the night before," he said. "I hadn't heard from her. I took that personally. It wasn't her fault. There were a lot of other things going on."
Stassi summed up her drama with Tom like this during her appearance on WWHL in February: "I just think Sandoval doesn't like me. That's it."
