Tinsley Mortimer Is Engaged as She Teases "the Big Day" (PHOTOS)

It appears Tinsley Mortimer has a new man in her life and is engaged to her special someone.

Nearly a year after confirming her move to Augusta, Georgia, The Real Housewives of New York City alum shared another big update on her personal life. On Friday, October 13, Tinsley posted a series of Instagram photos of her beachside getaway with a man and a few small children.

“Family vacay before the big day!” she captioned one of the Stories, which showed her and the tall gent smiling ear-to-ear against an ocean sunset. The two were also joined by three kids; however, Tinsley concealed their identities by placing hearts over their faces.

Tinsley did not reveal the exact nature of her relationship with the man or the little-ones at the time of posting the Instagrams though we have since learned that Tinsley and the man are engaged. It’s also unclear what “big day” the former ’Wife was referring to, but reports would later confirm more details on their upcoming wedding.

Another snap captured two of the young kids hugging each other on a boat ride. Tinsley continued to keep details to a minimum, as her caption simply read: “Twin power.”

Tinsley returned to Instagram just minutes later to share a third family photo. And, yes, it was just as sweet as the first two. The Virginia native was seen standing in front of some palm trees alongside the man and the twin girls. Tinsley rocked an Atlanta Braves baseball cap, a white strapless bikini, a Prada crochet tote, and a pair of sandals. 

Again, Tinsley didn’t provide any information about the moment but, judging by her outfit, the vacation included some fun in the sun and a block of swim time.

The fourth and final photo was a mirror selfie that showed Tinsley in the same white bikini look. The Story featured a sparkly heart gif and a Champagne toast gif, suggesting there was something to celebrate.

The Story also provided a closer look at Tinsley’s jewelry, which included a stack of gold bracelets, a gold cross necklace, and a massive ring on her left ring finger.

According to reports, her rep confirmed her engagement. Tinsley is engaged to Robert Bovard, who lives in Augusta with his family, reports add.

It has also been reported that the pair will marry in November 2023 and will reportedly marry in Palm Springs, Florida.

Although Tinsley’s social media activity has slowed down over the years, she continues to use Instagram to provide little glimpses into her post-RHONY life. Back in June, she took to the platform to celebrate the birth of her niece: “Cruiser is the most perfect baby girl in the world!!!” she wrote to her sister, Dabney Mercer. “I’m so lucky I got to be there with you when you had her. I couldn’t be more proud of you!!! She’s so beautiful and precious Dabs!!! We are all so in love!!!”

It was about two weeks ago when fans also got an update on Tinsley’s friendship with fellow RHONY alum Leah McSweeney. The Married to the Mob founder posted a throwback picture of her and Tinsley hanging out in Chicago: “ILYSM [I love you so much, Tinsley],” Leah captioned the post, followed by the “McMortimer” hashtag.

While there have been a few updates on Tinsley’s family, friends, and living situation, the details of her romantic life have been sparse in recent years. Tinsley married her childhood sweetheart, Robert Livingston “Topper” Mortimer, in 2002 and got divorced about seven years later. Over the following decade, she went on to date several high-profile and famous men, including German royal Casimir Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn and actor/singer Constantine Maroulis.

During her appearance on RHONY (Seasons 9-12), fans saw Tinsley become seriously involved with Scott Kluth, a Chicago-based entrepreneur who specialized in online businesses. The two met in 2017 when they were set up by RHONY alum Carole Radziwill. Scott proposed to Tinsley in 2020; however, they called it quits in the following year.
