Leah McSweeney Reacts to Tinsley Mortimer and Scott Kluth’s Split
The RHONY cast member opened up about the breakup between the alum and the businessman.
Back in March, the news broke that Tinsley Mortimer and Scott Kluth had ended their engagement a little over a year after they became betrothed in November 2019. Since then, The Real Housewives of New York City alum has been keeping fans up to date on her fabulous life post-split, including being back in Palm Beach and close to her mom Dale Mercer following a move to Chicago, as well as caring for her adorable dogs, Strawberry and Shortcake, who she has declared the "best babies in the world!"
Tinsley has also got the support of her pal, RHONY cast member Leah McSweeney, who reacted to the split during a May 4 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
"I think it said a lot more about him and his character [that he addressed the split in a statement to the press] and I'm happy that Tinsley's free and she dodged a bullet, really," she said. "He had no regard for her feeling or her life, and she left New York [in the middle of last season during Season 12] and gave up so much to be with him. And I would love for her to come back [to RHONY] and I hope that she does."
To this day, Leah and Tinsley remain close. Leah even asked the advice of Tinsley after she adopted her dog, Angel Marie, being that the Big Apple alum is such a great mom to her pooches. Oh and ICYMI, earlier this year, Leah and Tinsley were spotted hanging out with Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps. Tinsley's take on the meet up? "Awe don't make me miss my dysfunctional family," she shared at the time.
