Tinsley Mortimer Shares How She *Really* Feels About Her Mom Dale Mercer's Comments

Tinsley Mortimer's mother, Dale Mercer, has been a loving source of support for her daughter as she gets her groove back in the New York City social scene. However, Dale's motherly advice for Tinsley about marriage and starting a family has been coming off more like criticism to some fans of The Real Housewives of New York City.

Tinsley shared what she really thinks of her mom's comments during her appearance on the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show on Wednesday night (clip above). "My mom just wants me to be happy. She definitely has her direct mode of what she wants me to do and what she thinks would make me happy," Tinsley explained. "So it's difficult because, she has my best interests at heart, and I know that, and she wants me to be happy and have a baby and be in love, the whole thing, the whole package. So she does these things just to try to drive me into moving into that direction."

But Tinsley said that her mom also needs to understand that ultimately she knows what's best for her in her life. "She doesn't remember that I actually know that I'm 43, and I understand that I'm not in the prime of my life and I'm trying my best," Tinsley said on WWHL.

Tinsley and Dale have shown each other a lot of love by posting the most adorable throwback photos on Instagram over the past few weeks, showing the unbreakable bond of this dynamic mother-daughter duo.
