Shannon Beador Shares What She's Learned About Her Marriage from The Real Housewives of Orange County

Shannon and David Beador's vow renewal last season of The Real Housewives of Orange County was one of the most romantic moments in the history of The Real Housewives. But Shannon has expressed her disappointment over the RHOC couple not being in the same place this season and the feeling that she is so distant from her husband. 

Whether we see highs or lows in Shannon and David's relationship on RHOC, she said that she and her hubby don't talk about the show. However, that doesn't mean fans don't have something to say about what they see of the ups and downs of the marriage on TV.

Shannon recently told The Daily Dish that she hasn't received as much support from viewers when it comes to her marriage, compared to the empathy they've shown toward her and her weight loss journey, this season. "I just try and be myself. And that's why I say for better or for worse, you're gonna see me, you might judge me and say that I'm complaining or whining or negative or pathetic or whatever you want to call me," the RHOC mom explained. "Sorry, I'm just being myself from where I was at the time." 

Though Shannon admitted that "it's hard to watch" this season of RHOC, seeing these difficult moments with David has ultimately taught her a lot about their relationship — and herself. "From this season, I've learned that I need to focus on myself for happiness and for self-fulfillment, and I can be positive and I can be happy whether David is disconnected [from] me or not," Shannon shared. "I'm focusing on myself because the happiness comes from me." 

In August, Shannon told The Daily Dish that "things are good" between her and David these days. The couple has shared many happy times with their daughters Sophie, Stella, and Adeline this fall, including cheering on the USC Trojans football team and celebrating big family milestones.
