How Is Luann de Lesseps Doing After Returning Home from an Alcohol Treatment Center?
Carson Kressley shares what he first texted his good friend upon her return.
It's been a little more than a week since Luann de Lesseps shared that she has returned home after 21 days at an alcohol treatment center, and at least one famous friend has been there to show his support for The Real Housewives of New York City mom.
Fashion expert extraordinaire and RuPaul's Drag Race judge Carson Kressley has long been good friends with Luann. So of course he's been in touch with her since she completed her treatment. Kressley gave an update on how Luann is doing and what he texted her when she returned home during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Tuesday, which you can view, above.
Luann announced on social media at the end of December 2017 that she had decided to voluntarily check herself into an alcohol treatment center following her arrest in Palm Beach, Florida on Christmas Eve. "I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event," she wrote on Instagram. "Once again, I sincerely apologize for my actions. I have the greatest respect for police officers and the job they do. My actions alleged in the police report do not reflect my core values and my law abiding character. I am so grateful for the love and support that I am receiving from my family, friends and loyal supporters."
Luann then shared how she was doing after returning home from the alcohol treatment center on Twitter on January 23. "It’s good to be home. I’m doing great. Spending time with friends and family," she tweeted. "Thanking everyone for your continued good wishes and support."
She has since been staying strong, posting inspirational messages and images on social media.
