Luann de Lesseps Has Returned Home from an Alcohol Treatment Center
Luann sought "professional guidance" following a December arrest for disorderly intoxication.
Luann de Lesseps is home from a 21-day stay at an alcohol treatment center, which she voluntarily checked herself into after her December arrest in Palm Beach, Florida. The Real Housewives of New York City mom announced her return on Twitter on January 23.
"It’s good to be home," she wrote. "I’m doing great. Spending time with friends and family. Thanking everyone for your continued good wishes and support."
She used a December 29 Instagram post to inform the public that she had decided to check herself into a treatment program after being arrested on charges of battery on an officer, resisting arrest with violence, disorderly intoxication and crimes against a person in Palm Beach early in the morning on December 24.
"I want to offer my most sincere apologies to anyone that I might have offended with my behavior," she said in a statement to The Daily Dish after the incident. "This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding and being here brought up buried emotions. I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018."
Luann is due back in court on January 25.
