How Does Dorinda Medley's Daughter Feel About John Mahdessian These Days?
Find out how The Real Housewives of New York City daughter gets along with Dorinda's boyfriend today.
Few things are worse in life than when your family doesn't get along with your significant other. That's something that Dorinda Medley unfortunately knew all too well during the beginning of her time on The Real Housewives of New York City when her daughter, Hannah Lynch, wasn't so thrilled about her mom's boyfriend, John Mahdessian, which caused some tension in the couple's relationship.
Now that some time has passed and Hannah has moved out into a place of her own, have things improved between Dorinda's daughter and her boyfriend at all? The RHONY mom shared an update on where things stand between two of the most important people in her life during the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show Wednesday night. And what Dorinda had to say might raise some eyebrows among RHONY fans. Press play on the above video to see it all.
Dorinda also gave a pretty huge update on how Hannah is doing living on her own in the Big Apple. "She's moved out. She has a nice, wonderful, new boyfriend, who I'm meeting," Dorinda shared during the WWHL After Show. "Hannah does things in her own fashion, which is nice. She doesn't rush things."
Hannah officially moved out of Dorinda's Upper East Side apartment in December 2016. Dorinda had already found one major perk of being an empty nester when The Daily Dish caught up with her just a few months later in April 2017. "Here's another thing: you can't help yourself as a mother. I was saying when she was in college, I never thought about where she was on Saturday night or on a Tuesday night, but when you're home you can't help but wondering. Like, 'Where are you? When are you coming home?' It's the worst thing you can do to a kid," Dorinda reflected on Hannah's move. "So now our relationship has normalized again because I don't know too much. You know what I mean? There comes a point in a mother-daughter relationship where you shouldn't know too much."
Dorinda opens up more about her relationship with her daughter, below.
