Captain Lee Rosbach Calls the RHONY Boat Ride from Hell Drama "Overblown"

The Real Housewives of New York City's so-called Boat Ride from Hell has secured a spot as one of the scariest moments in Real Housewives history. The extremely rough waters caused the Big Apple bunch to hold on for dear life as they got seasick and generally panicked during the traumatic trip in Cartagena, Colombia in Season 10.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Peacock and the Bravo App.

But Below Deck's Captain Lee Rosbach, whose career on the high seas spans more than three decades, has only four words for the RHONY ladies: "Suck it up, cupcake."

The Below Deck boss recently gave his take on the Boat Ride from Hell during a visit to The Daily Dish HQ earlier this month, and he said that he agrees with Tinsley Mortimer that the experience wasn't as scary as some of the other ladies made it out to be (clip above). "It wasn't that bad. I thought Tinsley probably handled that better than the rest of them because for her it was like no big deal, and I was watching it and I was going like, 'What's all the excitement about?'" he said. "Nobody stuffed the bow, they weren't taking on any water, it was like overblown."

(For what it's worth, the whole ordeal looked absolutely terrifying to us!)

Captain Lee didn't hold back when it came to the RHONY crew — or any of The Real Housewives, for that matter. He also weighed in on several other unforgettable nautical moments, from Lydia McLaughlin's Balls Voyage Party on her boat to Lisa Rinna channeling her inner  Erika Jayne while out at sea.

So how would Captain Lee handle some of The Real Housewives' most dramatic boat moments? Press play on the above video to find out.

Of course, Captain Lee has plenty of his own drama to deal with on Below Deck. Check out a sneak peek of an all-new episode coming up on Tuesday at 9/8c, below.
