The RHONJ Cast Shared Their "Rose and Thorn" Moments From Season 13, and Some May Surprise You
See which RHONJ 'Wife called a fellow cast member her "thorn."
To say that The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13 has been a rollercoaster of a ride would be a major understatement. And while there's still more drama to come as the three-part reunion continues, BravoTV.com caught up with the ladies backstage for a Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show special in which they named their "rose" and "thorn" of the season.
Read on to see what Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda, as well as friends Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler, named as their highs and lows of RHONJ Season 13.
Teresa Giudice
"Obviously my wedding was one of the most amazing days of my life," Teresa said. "And the thorn [was], unfortunately, my family."
Dolores Catania
For Dolores, her rose was, "of course, the cast trip to Ireland," while her thorn was the Irish party she threw with her boyfriend, Paul "Paulie" Connell. "I knew walking away from that, that if there was a chance that we could all be together again, it would not be an easy fix."
Melissa Gorga
Melissa's rose and thorn is one in the same: the Ireland trip. As she put it, "I loved Ireland. It was one of my favorite trips. It felt so authentic and nice to be in that country. But my thorn is also that I had no idea while I was enjoying that country what was going on behind my back."
Danielle Cabral
"My rose of the season was building a better friendship with Teresa, Jennifer, and Dolores," Danielle said. "My thorn of the season was getting to know the other women."
Jennifer Aydin
Like Teresa, Jennifer named Teresa's wedding as her "high" of the season. "I felt like that was super fun and such a great experience to be a part of," she said before revealing her "ultimate low," which was "calling Dolores an old handbag."
"I didn't like that," Jennifer added. "I felt so bad about that because she really is a good friend and I think she's beautiful."
Rachel Fuda
"My thorn is just Danielle," Rachel said of her fellow newcomer. "She's like a thorn in my side, that's it. My rose is just having these amazing friendships that have come out of this experience. I'm really making memories that are going to last a lifetime."
Margaret Josephs
"The only rose of the season," Margaret said, "is that we went to Ireland."
Her thorn, meanwhile, had to do with the Teresa and Louie drama that erupted on the finale.
Jackie Goldschneider
"I think Ireland was beautiful, that was definitely the rose," Jackie said. "The thorn, I think I got a bad rap with Danielle and I don't like the narrative she created."
Jennifer Fessler
The Ireland trip came up one last time thanks to Jackie's fellow Season 13 friend, Jenn Fessler. "A high/low of the season, Ireland — I mean, everybody says that but it's just true. Ireland was the high."
As for Jennifer's "low," she pointed to both her confession about James Gandolfini and the finale.
