Teresa Giudice is a self-proclaimed Swiftie.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom made the declaration in a recent interview with Us Weekly, more than three months after her iconic encounter with Taylor Swift. As you probably recall, Teresa set the internet ablaze on April 14 when she snapped a photo with Taylor at Coachella 2024.
“She was such a sweetheart,” Teresa said about the Grammy-winning artist. “I became a Swiftie now because of her.”

Teresa Giudice explains how her Taylor Swift encounter went down
Teresa said she was on the fairgrounds watching a show when she and her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, spotted Taylor in the audience. The Jersey ’Wife admitted she was slightly hesitant to approach the singer but ultimately worked up the courage.
“I hate to bother anyone but she was such a sweetheart, and that’s how I am,” Teresa explained. “Like if anybody ever wants a picture I’m always nice to them and she was so sweet. She was so sweet… We were right next to each other at Coachella watching Ice Spice.”

Teresa said she wanted to capture the moment for her good friend/RHONJ castmate Jennifer Aydin, who is a huge Taylor fan.
“Jennifer Aydin, [who’s] on my show, she loves her,” she previously told E! News. “I’m like, ‘Alright, I’m doing this for Jennifer Aydin.’”
Shortly after Louie posted the snap on Instagram, Jennifer took to the comments section with an amusing response: “ok- I finally jealous of something!!”

Teresa also confirmed she was “right next to" Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber during Ice Spice's Coachella set. However, she chose not to approach the celebrity couple, as she didn’t want to interrupt their concert experience.
“[Hailey’s] beautiful and I love Justin,” she told Us Weekly. “I love all his music. I was going to ask them for a picture but I didn’t because, you know, we were all just enjoying the concert.”
Teresa Giudice says Taylor Swift knew who she was
Teresa spoke about her run-in with Taylor during the May interview with E! News, saying she was surprised that the superstar knew who she was.
“I asked her, I said, ‘Do you know who I am?’ and she said ‘Yeah,’” Teresa recalled. “I said, ‘Can I get a photo?’ And she was the sweetest person ever… I love her.”
She continued: “We should all be amazing to each other and lift each other up. She touched my heart. There’s some people that I have met—I’m not gonna say who—that act like who they are. She was so down to earth.”
