Teresa Gives Her Very Honest Opinion of Meeting Joe Giudice’s Girlfriend: "It Was..."
RHONJ cast member Teresa Giudice has, in fact, met her ex-husband's new romantic partner.
Teresa Giudice has so much "love, love, love" to give. The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member and mom to four daughters has been through a lot in her love life — from her 2020 divorce from ex-husband Joe Giudice, to celebrating two years of marriage to husband, Luis "Louie" Ruelas. But now that she and her ex have both moved on, she is talking about how this has changed things between them and how she feels about her ex's new girlfriend.
Teresa appeared on the podcast, Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, where she revealed that it was Louie's idea to visit Joe in the Bahamas, which is where her ex currently lives, this past holiday season. The men first met in the Bahamas in 2021 while Teresa and Louie were dating.
Although Teresa was reluctant to visit Joe for New Year's Eve, she went so she could make her daughters happy. And even though Joe had his girlfriend there, Teresa said it was "not at all" weird to be around her.
"We had a great time," she told podcast host, Kelly Ripa. "We all hung out and it was totally fine."
At the time of this vacation, Joe took to his Instagram Story where he posted photos of him all dressed up with his daughters. Even Teresa got in on the pictures — but Joe's girlfriend was absent from these snapshots.
Gia Giudice says Joe Giudice's girlfriend is "really sweet"
During a March appearance on Teresa's former podcast, Namaste B$tches, Teresa and Joe's eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, opened up about the lucky lady in her dad's life. Although she did not give too many details, she did say that they all had a great time together during that aforementioned New Year's trip.
"But yeah, he definitely is seeing someone," Gia said on the podcast. "She's really sweet and he's really happy, too. So that's good."
But, Gia said that she doesn't see her dad re-marrying in the future. "I don't really feel like he is really into doing the whole marriage thing all over again," she said. "I think he's just living his life out there, to be honest with you."
Does Joe Giudice get along with Louie Ruelas?
During a June 2023 podcast appearance, Joe had nothing but positive things to say about Teresa's new husband. But, he joked, he's no Juicy Joe.
"I mean, he's been nice to me," he said. "He's called me, he's been a man... Even when he went as far as coming out here before they got married. He came out to let me know that he wanted to get married and everything, and he wanted, you know, I guess, my blessings. And I thought that was very nice."
