RHODubai's Chanel Ayan and RHONJ's Melissa Gorga's beef initially began over Instagram followers and now Teresa has entered the chat.
Teresa Giudice's friendship with Chanel Ayan runs deep.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member became friends with The Real Housewives of Dubai 'wife shortly before Teresa tied the knot in August 2022, and the ladies are still going strong in their friendship today. When Ayan appeared on the August 6 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she was asked to share three positive things about Teresa's sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga. (ICYMI: Melissa and Ayan have beef, more on that below.)
"She's the sister-in-law of Teresa. She's married to Teresa's brother, and she has a business called Why Be Envious?" Ayan responded, referring to Melissa's store, Envy. When she got a strong reaction from the crowd, and from fellow guest, Justin Simien, Ayan exclaimed, "What?! It's nice things."
Ayan's shady answer, which was actually her just sharing three facts about Melissa, made some waves online. A clip of the buzzy moment was posted on the official WWHL Instagram account, and Teresa reacted to Ayan's words by posting three red hearts in the comments section.
Chanel Ayan and Melissa Gorga's feud explained
While Ayan may have simply been supporting Teresa when she made her WWHL comments, she previously accused Melissa of buying Instagram followers. "Did she buy them?" Ayan appeared to write in an Instagram comment, referring to Melissa's 2.8 million follower count, per Reality Blurb.
Melissa responded to Ayan on the July 11 episode of her podcast, On Display with Melissa Gorga. "She just wants to mention my name, when I have no idea why. I don't approach her, I don't follow her, I don't know her..." Melissa said. "It's actually really confusing for me to figure out why she's doing this."
She added, "I don't play in the mud. I don't randomly call out other Housewives on other franchises for absolutely no reason... It's not my style, it's not what I do."
Melissa was, at the time, open to forming a friendship with the RHODubai cast member.
“She’s snarky and I think she’s great at what she does. So I don’t… really get it," she said. "So hit me up, girl, if you ever want to talk, because I’m confused."
After Ayan's WWHL appearance, it appears as if the two ladies weren't able to work out their differences.
