Have Teresa and Joe Giudice Talked About the Possibility of Moving to Italy?
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom opens up about what's next after her husband's deportation ruling.
Last month, a judge ruled that Joe Giudice will be deported back to Italy following the completion of his 41-month prison sentence in the spring of 2019. Though they're appealing the judge's decision, the possibility of Joe having to move out of the country is very real for him and his family.
But his wife, Teresa Giudice, said that she hasn't wanted to think that far ahead yet when she opened up about Joe's deportation ruling on Wednesday night's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (clip above). "No, I haven't even discussed that. For real," she told Andy Cohen. "We're just taking it one day at a time. I don't even want to think about that. Like, I don't want to put that out in the universe, so whatever happens."
Teresa, who now visits Joe in prison about once a month, also shared that she was "shocked" by the judge's ruling, and the couple's four daughters (Gia, 17, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 12, and Audriana, 9) were "very upset" by the news. She added that the paperwork for the appeal has been submitted, and now the waiting game begins. "It's gonna take time," she said.
Teresa told PEOPLE earlier this month that Joe is also "very upset" by the ruling, and they're looking to his legal team "to fight this."
Fans will not see Teresa and her family deal with Joe's deportation ruling in the current season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which kicked off Season 9 on Wednesday, November 7, she confirmed to ET last month.
Teresa gave more insight into how things are going in her marriage with Joe on WWHL, which you can check out, below.
