Taylor Armstrong Has a Surprising Take on Whether Kyle Richards & Lisa Vanderpump Can Ever Be Friends

The RHOC newcomer also revealed who she’s closest to from the RHOBH cast.

By Shannon Raphael

Before Taylor Armstrong became a friend of the ladies on Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, she was a diamond holder showcasing her life in the 90210 zip code with the likes of Adrienne Maloof, Camille Grammer Meyer, Kyle Richards, and Lisa Vanderpump on the first three seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

How to Watch

As a result, Taylor has a unique perspective on the dynamics among all the California-based ’Wives, and she had a surprising answer when she was asked about the once-close friendship between two of her former RHOBH castmates.

Does Taylor Armstrong think Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump can be friends?

During the first nine seasons of RHOBH, Lisa and Kyle had a tight-knit friendship — though the two certainly faced their ups and downs on the show.

On the Season 9 premiere back in February 2019, Kyle went to Villa Rosa to tell LVP about a rumor the other ladies were discussing. Though Kyle intended to be the messenger delivering the news to Lisa, the two got into a disagreement about what was being said.

This Is the Feud That Broke Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards' Friendship

The interaction was the demise of Kyle and Lisa’s friendship (and it also led to the now-famous moment when Ken Todd asked Kyle to leave Villa Rosa by saying, “Goodbye, Kyle!”). The two ended Season 9 in a bad place, and Lisa ultimately decided not to attend the reunion. In the years since, Kyle and Lisa have not mended their relationship, and Taylor weighed in on whether she thinks there’s any hope for a reconciliation between the former pals during the June 28 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

More specifically, host Andy Cohen asked the mom of one if she believes the former castmates can work on “resolving [their] issues” and become friends again, and she had a simple response.

“No,” Taylor said, and Andy agreed that the friendship may not be recovering anytime soon.

“That’s not happening,” he said.

Where Taylor Stands with Her RHOC and RHOBH Castmates

After her drama with Heather Dubrow over acting credits kicked off on Episode 4 of RHOC Season 17, Taylor played a game of “Heads of Our ’Wives” on WWHL to share her true thoughts on the ladies from Orange County and from RHOBH.

Taylor selected Heather as the “least trustworthy” thanks to their movie beef, and she said that fellow RHUGT alum Tamra Judge was the “most loyal” to her.

She showed some love to the women from her former area code, naming Kyle the best dresser and Lisa the best businesswoman.

Before she made her RHOC debut, Taylor reflected on her RHOBH past and revealed who she’s still close with from the original cast.

“The most fun [person] to be around is Kyle Richards. She and I were really good friends and still are,” Taylor said. “And we lived three streets away from one another, so we were together all the time.”

See Taylor on RHOC Season 17, which airs on Bravo on Wednesdays at 8/7c, and catch up on RHOBH on Peacock.
