Taylor Ann Green Made a Surprising Confession About Shep Rose and Austen Kroll at the Reunion
Olivia Flowers and Madison LeCroy also weighed in on the topic during the Southern Charm Season 9 reunion.
There were many surprising moments in the Austen Kroll, Taylor Ann Green, and Olivia Flowers saga over the course of Southern Charm Season 9, but one of the most shocking came courtesy of Craig Conover.
More specifically, on Episode 10, Craig brought up a comment that Austen had apparently made about Taylor in the past. As he put it when speaking to Austen, "You said since the first day that Shep [Rose] and Taylor got together, that you guys have had sexual tension."
Austen initially denied that he had ever made said remark, but he changed his tune once Craig reminded him of another detail from the chat in question: "At the Commodore, you said, 'If Shep didn't take her home, I would've.'"
"Ohhh," Austen responded. "That day..."
Fast-forward to Part 1 of the Southern Charm Season 9 reunion, when Shep shared just how much Craig and Austen's conversation had bothered him. Read on for details and to see what Taylor had to say on the matter.
Shep Rose's "Problem" with Austen Kroll After Southern Charm Season 9
While discussing the drama at the reunion, Shep told the group, "Here's what is a potential problem: On this season, he said, 'Oh man, Shep wouldn't even have got with Taylor if I had gotten to her before he met her.'"
Turning to Austen, Shep continued, "Do you know how arrogant it is to be like, 'If I got to her first bro, you never would've fallen in love and spent two and a half years [together]?'"
Before Austen could respond, reunion host Andy Cohen noted that he wanted to hear what the women thought about the comment. Madison LeCroy, for her part, said, "I believe Austen. I think if he would've gotten to Taylor first, they would've been together."
Olivia expressed a similar sentiment. "That probably should've been how it went down," she said. "And that's why at the end of all this mess, I was like, 'They should try it out now.' I mean, why not, when it's all this much of a sh-t show? Like, why not give it a shot?"
Would Taylor Ann Green have rather dated Austen Kroll than Shep Rose?
When it came time for Taylor to weigh in, she made it clear she didn't share the same opinion as Madison and Olivia.
"No, I was very much interested in Shep," Taylor explained. "He captivated me a million times over."
Shep, for one, was happy to hear her answer.
Stay tuned for Part 2 of the Southern Charm Season 9 reunion, airing on January 18, at 8/9c. Stream episodes the next day on Peacock.
