Tamron Hall Says She's "Rooting" for Joe Giudice
The Today co-host shared her assessment of the #RHONJ dad on #WWHL, following her interview with him in 2015.
In October 2015, Joe Giudice sat down with Today co-host, Tamron Hall. The interview, timed to the premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa Checks In, touched on a number of subjects, including Teresa Giudice's time in jail and Joe's own then-upcoming sentence. However, The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad wasn't too quick to comment on a possible deportation back to Italy following his 41-month jail sentence, which he is currently serving.
"He wouldn’t answer a couple of questions. The longest silence of my...I asked him about being deported. He wouldn’t answer," Tamron shared on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday. "So I decided in my mind I would go to a happy place so I started picturing a vacation in Jamaica and I just sat there blinking and thinking of Jamaica and blinking. And he was blinking and eventually we both laughed. He seems like a really nice guy."
When Andy Cohen noted that since entering jail back in March, Joe has lost approximately 30 pounds, Tamron noted, "I’m rooting for…listen. I root for anyone who’s got kids and if they want to make it work. Everyone makes mistakes."
