Tamra Judge Thanks Doctor for Apologizing After False Report About Her Granddaughter's Health

The #RHOC glamma responds after a controversial article about granddaughter Ava Ryan.

By Jocelyn Vena

Earlier this month, The Real Housewives of Orange County's Tamra Judge headed to Facebook toclear up rumors about her granddaughter Ava Ryan's health. She was initially upset with physician F. Perry Wilson, who spoke to Radar Online about his theory on Ava's condition without having actually treated the child himself. Wilson has since apologized to Ava's mother Sarah Rodriguez for his comments, which got a response from Tamra. "Big Thank you Dr. Perry Wilson for calling Sarah and apologizing. Another victim of their twisted lies," Tamra wrote on Facebook

Sarah told Real Mr. Housewife that she received a call from the doctor after the tabloid report picked up steam last week. “When I got on the phone with him I was ready to get defensive. I said, ‘First of all, I want to know where you got the information about my daughter and why you felt it necessary to comment about my daughter when you never saw her as a patient.’ He told me he was contacted by the tabloid with a question and was not told it was about a specific patient- meaning, he didn’t know it was about my daughter," she said.

Wilson has also weighed in on the controversy. “I was really just trying to provide background information. I guess the tone of the article surprised me most of all, that it was almost like I was implying that there was some horrible misdiagnosis or something," he told Real Mr. Housewife. "Obviously, I would never diagnose a patient whose medical records I haven’t seen… There was selective quoting [in the article].”

“This is just another example of how tabloids have zero facts and write nonsense stories just to get views on their websites," Tamra added. "Kids are off limits. Shame on them!"
