Tamra Defends Alexis and John’s Relationship Amid Her Feud with Shannon and Vicki
Plus, hear RHOC's Tamra Judge open up on the reason she left the Tres Amigas.
Tamra Judge may have repaired her friendships with Shannon Storms Beador and Vicki Gunvalson on Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, but the Tres Amigas are on an indefinite hiatus.
There are several reasons for the current rift according to Tamra, including her stance on Alexis Bellino's newly-formed relationship with Shannon's ex, John Janssen. Find out why she's not against the idea of the two being together and get further details on her drama with Shannon and Vicki by scrolling below.
Tamra Judge Defends Alexis Bellino and John Janssen's Relationship
In case you need a refresher, Shannon and John split after dating for three-and-a-half years at the end of 2022. Though the two continued to be friends after their breakup, that all changed when John sparked relationship rumors with RHOC alum Alexis. Today, the latter two are officially dating.
Weighing in on the relationship in an interview with ET on January 12, Tamra said, "there's no girl code [violation]" on Alexis' part. "They don't know each other," she added of Alexis and Shannon. "They didn’t work together."
What's more, she believes it "wasn’t a calculated move" on Alexis' part to get with John.
"I actually was on my podcast and I said, 'Listen, they ran ... into each other,'" Tamra recalled. "Like, just because someone takes a picture together doesn’t mean they're dating. And so, about a ... week went by and [Alexis] called me and she goes, 'Thank you so much for sticking up for me, that's exactly what it is. We took a picture together.'"
Of course, Alexis and John did eventually begin dating a few weeks later. And when Tamra found out, she was admittedly shocked. "...We started seeing more pictures and [Alexis] called me and said, 'We're dating now...' and I was floored. I had no idea."
Why Tamra Judge Left the Tres Amigas
Tamra's stance on Alexis and John isn't the only reason she's on the outs with Shannon and Vicki. As she explained, "I backed out of the Tres Amigas ... You know, it's tough. It's so twisted, and there's so many layers to it, it's hard for me to explain everything — but I didn't do anything to either one of them."
Specifically referencing their plans to go on tour together, Tamra added, "After we did the Phoenix show, the agent called me and said, 'Would you like to do another show?' and I said, 'You know what? I really, I can't right now. I have too much, too many things on my plate, I can't go on this tour with them.' They had already known that, they know my schedule's super busy."
Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson's Drama, Explained
Tamra then addressed her and Vicki's recent social media argument in which Vicki called her "a traitor" (a reference to Tamra joining The Traitors Season 2).
"I just didn't have a lot of time to go traveling, and I guess Vicki didn't like that and now she's calling me a traitor," Tamra said.
At the time of Vicki's post, Tamra also replied, "Thank you. I’m honored to be on an Emmy-winning reality show with some of the biggest names in the industry. Sorry, you didn’t get the call. Better luck next time."
Will Tamra Judge ever be friends with Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Storms Beador again?
Discussing the fate of her friendships with Vicki and Shannon, Tamra said, "There were some things they had said about me behind my back that got to me, and it didn't sit well with me. In 2024, I'm not going to be around toxic people that are, you know — if you're my friend, be my friend. If I'm doing something or saying something you don't like, come to me and tell me."
"I don't want friends that are stabbing me in the back, and talking behind my back," Tamra added. "So, I wish them both all the success in the world, but until things change, you know, I don't need to be a part of it."
That said, Tamra also noted, "Listen, I never say never."
