Sutton Stracke Gives New Details About a Hard Talk with Her Ex: "This Man Gets What He Wants"
The RHOBH cast member opened up about going through a "huge" moment with Christian Stracke and where they stand today.
Sutton Stracke is opening up about a pivotal moment in her relationship with her ex-husband, Christian Stracke.
During Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sutton shared with her daughter, Porter, that it was "really hard" when Christian decided to move to London. In the RHOBH After Show video above, Sutton explained that Christian wanted her and their son James to make the move as well. "I told [Christian] [that our son] James is not going, and I'm not going," she said.
Sutton shared more details on that conversation during Part 2 of the RHOBH Season 13 reunion, which aired on March 6. While giving more context to her buzzed-about reaction to the group's Magic Mike Live outing, Sutton admitted that she was going through a hard time during the trip.
"[Christian] had told me that day that he was moving to London, and James, my son, was moving to London, and I was moving to London," Sutton shared. "And this man gets what he wants."

When Andy asked, "He could dictate whether you move to London?" Sutton admitted, "I went through my whole marriage being dictated." Andy pointed out, "You're not married to him anymore," to which Sutton responded, "No, but see when you're trained like that..."
Ultimately, Sutton stood her ground and told her ex-husband that she and their son would not be relocating. "I went to him and said, 'I am not moving to London. James is not moving to London. We're staying here," she shared. "It took so much courage for me to do that."
After that conversation, Sutton shared, "He agreed." She added, "It was huge for me to face him."

In the After Show video above, Sutton shared kind words about her ex. "I did want to say to Christian, 'Look, we're always going to have a relationship," she told Garcelle Beauvais in the clip. "'We're always going to be parents together, grandparents together, and have lives that intermingle. And I want to thank you for being a good dad.'"

Sutton and Christian were married for 16 years and went on to divorce in 2016. They share their daughter Porter and sons James and Philip. "Christian and I, when we separated and then later got divorced, my children flipped," Sutton shared on the RHOBH After Show. "They all just started crying."
As Sutton confirmed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she receives $300,000 per month from Christian "after taxes" as part of their divorce settlement.
