Sutton Stracke Opens up About Lisa Rinna Talking About Her Money on RHOBH
The RHOBH friend explains what it's been like to share her life on Season 10.
When Sutton Stracke came onto the scene this season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she was introduced to the group and viewers by pal Lisa Rinna — and Rinna made no secret about how well-off and fabulous the 90210 newbie is. But that's a topic of conversation Sutton recently explained to The Daily Dish she doesn't feel all that keen to discuss.
"The money part was uncomfortable. But, like me being on a [charity] board or something like that, that’s really nice," she said about Rinna showing off about her friend during Season 10 of RHOBH. "But, I think, she’s just kind of counting me as [the] real deal. I am very uncomfortable talking about finances."
The Georgia native added, "I guess it’s a southern thing. Or it’s a my thing [to not talk about it]. I don’t know. I’m like, 'Please, let’s just not talk about it.' Not necessary," she added with a laugh.
Still, she knows Rinna's candor is a big part of her charm and it's why she does like her so much. "This girl brought me to a cocktail party, dinner party, to meet all of these other ladies — and then told me you’re on your own," Sutton recalled, with a laugh, about meeting the RHOBH cast in the Season 10 premiere at Fashion Week in NYC. "[She was like], 'You’re on your own, kid.' And like she threw me to the wolves; she didn’t care. And but that’s what I love about her."
The mother-of-three added, "She does not bulls--t. And I really like that about her. And I think there’s a part in the fall when we were all together that Lisa and I all of a sudden made a turn in our friendship, which I was surprised and really delighted by. Like, 'This is cool.'"
