Summer House's Carl Radke Addresses Stephen McGee's Comments About His Sexuality

Things seemed to go from bad to worse between Carl Radke and Stephen McGee on Monday night's episode of Summer House. Though they started off the summer the best of friends, their relationship became increasingly strained, culminating in a tense talk where Stephen brought up the past intimate moment Carl said he experienced with another guy. 

Carl addressed Stephen's comments on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Monday night (clip above). "I could tell you this, Andy, I am a straight man. I'm very confident in my sexuality. Stephen is actually one of my first gay friends. I told him something. Yeah, I didn't really know how to communicate it to him, but I made more of a joke than I should have," Carl explained. "But I told him very private information about something that happened to me when I was 22. It took me 10 years to actually come to grips to share it with someone. I shared it with one of my gay friends, and somehow that got permeated into other people finding out, and here I am having a conversation about it." 

Carl, who has recently had people talking because of his relationship with Lauren Wirkus this season of Summer House as well as his alleged hookup with Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay, also expressed how hurt he was after Stephen shared this part of his past. "Honestly, I felt like he betrayed my trust," Carl added. "You guys will have to tune in next week to see how it all unfolds. But I'm a straight guy, I'm very confident in myself, and unfortunately crazy sh-- happens to guys sometimes." 

This Summer House friendship initially started to break down after Stephen was unhappy with Carl's over-the-top behavior at the Gay Pride parade earlier in the summer. Watch their emotional discussion in the wake of that event, below.
