What can fans expect on Summer House Season 9?

Per the show announcement, "Returning this summer unsure of where everyone stands, these housemates find themselves bonding over a growing wombmate and determined to get back to the carefree group that loves to send it. Nine favorites return to the Hamptons, along with two fresh faces ready to have some fun in the sun."

The trailer for Season 9 of Summer House, meanwhile, picks up at the Season 8 reunion with host Andy Cohen telling the group, "One of the main comments we got from fans about this season was that so much of it felt so fun and light. Do you think this same group of people could send it under one roof, or has that ship sailed?"

The answer to that question is clearly "yes," because from there, the Summer House-mates can be seen having a ball as they hit the beach, throw several sure-to-be-iconic theme parties, and so much more.

That said, there's plenty of drama to come too — including speculation about Lindsay's mystery boyfriend; cheating allegations against Carl; a potential love triangle involving Jesse, Ciara, and newbie Lexi; and a work-related feud between Kyle and Paige's boyfriendCraig Conover, which ends up affecting Paige's own friendship with Kyle.

Thankfully, Vanderpump Rules' Tom Schwartz — who's friends with much of the Summer House cast — issues a reassuring message at the end of the Season 9 trailer: "You guys have to cherish this. You're a happy family. I know it's sometimes dysfunctional, but this is a beautiful thing you have. And I used to have that too..."

Amanda's response? "You're so dramatic."

In the lead up to the return of Summer House next February, stream Seasons 1-8 on Peacock now.
