We Have Some Updates on the Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Cast After *That* Season 1 Finale

Summer may be over when it comes to the debut season of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard, but there’s still a lot of drama, friendship changes, and relationship updates for viewers to catch up on.
The Season 1 finale of the show — which follows a group of friends brought together by newlyweds Jasmine Ellis Cooper and Silas Cooper’s summer hot spot — aired on June 25, and we have the scoop on where things stand among the cast members now.
Are Silas Cooper and Jasmine Ellis Cooper still together?
The married couple wasn’t exactly in the best place when the group left Martha’s Vineyard, as Jasmine declared that the two were going to see a couples therapist “the second [they got] back to New York.”
“It’s gonna be a lot of work,” she added about the state of their marriage.
However, fellow Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard cast member Preston Mitchum confirmed that Jasmine and Silas are still together today.
“They are married, they’re married,” he said on the June 25 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
The couple even celebrated their first wedding anniversary the day after the finale aired, and Jasmine shared a look at their getaway to Mexico on her Instagram Stories.
“Anniversary vibes,” she wrote in one Story, along with a red heart emoji.
Is Nick Arrington still dating his girlfriend, Tasia?
Nick was in the audience during the June 25 episode of WWHL, and he offered an update on his girlfriend, Tasia.
In case you need a refresher, Nick slid into the DMs of a few of his female castmates before the summer began, and he revealed nine days into the Martha’s Vineyard trip that he had a serious girlfriend of several years. During the finale, Alex Tyree surprised Nick by bringing out his girlfriend for a special visit. He opened up about the touching moment on WWHL.
“I was genuinely surprised. It was a beautiful moment for me,” he said. “And I think I’ll just go on the record and say I’m a great guy, I just did a bonehead thing.”
Would Jordan Emanuel ever date Amir Lancaster?
Jordan friend-zoned Amir after he asked the other guys not to pursue her so that he could. She opened up about their relationship on the finale.
“Out of everyone, my friendship with Amir has blossomed the most during our time in Martha’s Vineyard,” she said. “And I would say he’s now one of my very close friends.”
Fast-forward to the June 25 episode of WWHL, and Jordan now sees a slight romantic possibility between them. “That’s a little moment,” she said when host Andy Cohen pointed out that the two would be a “cute” couple.
Are Bria Fleming and Simon still together?
After getting into an argument on the last night, Bria decided to give her German beau another chance.
“I was ready to throw my relationship away. I was done,” Bria said in an interview on the episode. “But I slept on it, and Simon is willing to do everything for you… that’s what you should be focusing on. So I appreciate that.”
Months after filming wrapped, Bria and Simon are still going strong.
Where do Alex Tyree and Summer Marie Thomas stand?
Though Summer wasn’t with the group for the entirety of their Martha’s Vineyard trip, she quickly formed a “rhythmic” connection with Alex.
After he performed with his brother for the rest of the cast, Alex told Summer that he wanted to spend time with her once they both returned home.
“I feel like you were a great addition to the house too,” Alex said. “So when you come out to New York, just hit me up.”
“Yeah,” Summer responded. “I’ll be there soon.”
What’s next for Jason Lyke, Shanice Henderson, and Preston Mitchum?
Shanice wasn’t in Martha’s Vineyard for the finale because of her work schedule, but she reflected on the experience on Instagram.
“Well that was fun!” she captioned a post featuring photos from her time in Massachusetts.
Both Jason and Preston left the house on good terms with their fellow castmate. “Love y’all and I’ll see y’all soon,” Jason said as he got in the car to leave.
Preston appeared on WWHL and confirmed that he’s still happily dating his boyfriend. He also revealed that he’s still friends with his fraternity brother, Silas (though he thinks Bria and Simon will last longer as a couple than Jasmine and Silas).
“We will always have moments of tension, but at the end of the day, it’s always going to end in moments of love,” Preston explained.
“We’re good,” he added about his friendship with Silas. “At the end of the day, I will defend him, and Silas will always protect me.”
