You Won't Believe Who Is Causing the Most Drama on the Premiere of Summer House: Martha's Vineyard

May is already heating up to be an epic month as Bravo fans get acquainted with a new group of pals who love to have a good time with the series premiere of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard. The show will follow Nicholas “Nick” Arrington, Jasmine Ellis Cooper, Silas Cooper, Jordan Emanuel, Bria Fleming, Shanice Henderson, Amir Lancaster, Jason Lyke, Preston Mitchum, Summer Marie Thomas, and Alex Tyree as they come together to vacation, and share new experiences in Oaks Bluff, Massachusetts.

How Does the Summer House: Martha's Vineyard Cast Know Each Other?

Sure, the cast are all familiar with one another, but that doesn’t mean they will always see everything the same way. And in the first look preview (which you can watch above), there seems to be tension brewing between Jasmine and Bria, who happen to be former coworkers.

As Jasmine diligently prepares dinner for the arriving Oaks Bluff crew, she soon finds herself welcoming a four-legged guest she had no clue about. “Woah, woah,” she says while giving a shady look at Bria’s dog, Milo. Jasmine then proceeds to greet Bria while trying to figure out why a pet is in the house that was uncounted for.

In a confessional with her husband Silas, Jasmine expressed her concerns by saying, “All of us walked in with two legs — Milo walked in with four.” She continued, “I don’t know how [Bria] thought that was gonna go past us without addressing the paws in the room.”

Bria immediately shares with Jasmine, Silas, and Preston that Milo is her “emotional support” animal for anxiety before Jasmine adds, “Oh, we can support you through that.”

Moments later, Jasmine reveals that she and Bria used to work with each other at a “club” but didn’t have the best relationship. “I haven’t really gotten to know Bria and we weren’t as close,” she said in an interview before admitting that their mutual friend Shanice convinced her to let Bria vacation with the group.

Despite their awkward past, Jasmine puts forth the effort to let Bria know about the guys joining them in Oaks Bluff for any potential love connections. Bria then reveals to Jasmine that she is “wife’d up” and not looking for love.
