Balloon Guy Joe Breaks His Silence on *That* Danielle Drama: "If You Really Want the Truth..."
Balloon Guy Joe dished on his Summer House appearances in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish and revealed where he stands with Danielle today.
Gabby Prescod and Danielle Olivera clashed over their shared interest in Balloon Guy Joe during the Summer House crew's alien-themed party, and while the pair was quick to squash their beef (which they later broke down on the Summer House After Show), Joe has yet to share his take on everything — until now, that is.
Who is Balloon Guy Joe?
Balloon Guy Joe works for the party rental company that's supplied balloons for numerous Summer House gatherings. He eventually attended one of these parties himself and ended up hooking up with Danielle.
In an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, Joe shared more information about himself.
"If you really want the truth, I'm not even Balloon Guy Joe. I'm a Local 1 bricklayer in the city Monday to Friday. That's my bread and butter, brick laying construction," he revealed. "I work seven days a week, and on the weekends, I work for a cesspool company called Certified Cesspool, and I work for Hampton Balloon as well as the summer kicks off."
"I like to stay busy," Joe added. "I work all the time."

Balloon Guy Joe's Experience Filming Summer House
Though Joe made his Summer House debut during the outer space bash, it turns out he was actually invited to the Hamptons 500 party as well.
"I was at work, I did my thing, and Lindsay [Hubbard] came up to me and said, 'Do you want to come back to the party tonight?' And I said, 'Yeah, no problem,'" Joe recalled. "So I come back later that night, and the party was already shut down."
Joe ultimately went home, "and I thought that was it," he said. But then Lindsay got in touch again.
"I thought I was never gonna hear from them again. And then about a week later, my phone rings and it's Lindsay. She says, 'Hi, we're having a party, and I've got some single friends I want you to meet. Do you want to come?'" he explained.
Joe, of course, ended up helping out with the balloons for the party in addition to attending the bash.
"I went into it with a very open mind as just, I'm going to another party," Joe explained.
But did he know about the drama going on about him?
"I was just doing my thing and, you know, there were a couple of times that maybe it slipped that I was being the center of attention. But yeah, I wasn't really struck about it or felt a certain way about it. I was just kind of doing my thing."
Joe's Reaction to Gabby and Danielle's Summer House Drama
Now that Joe and the people in his life have watched the Summer House episodes back, he told The Daily Dish, "My phone's been ringing a little more times than usual these days. The reactions [have been], you know, people are like, 'Is this you? Is this true? Did I just see what I saw?' and yeah, it is what it is."
"I just feel like it's another day and, oh sh-t, that's me on TV right there," he added. "Like I just kind of feel like I'm watching a picture of myself. I'm not sure it has really set in."
Have Danielle Olivera and Balloon Guy Joe kept in touch?
Joe told The Daily Dish that he's "reached out" to Danielle "a few times" since last summer.
"We've had a few conversations," Joe said. "Lindsay, we've had a few conversations, more like on Instagram — like, pictures or balloon work that I've done, they will comment on it, but we're not hanging out and having dinners or anything like that. Not to say I wouldn't if they [were to] call and want to get together. I loved all of them. They were all great people ... I had so much fun and, you know, I would do it again."
