What We Know So Far About Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark’s Upcoming Wedding

We have a big event coming up this October, folks: Vanderpump Rules couple Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark are set to tie the knot! And we already know a great deal about the upcoming wedding: We know that it will be in Italy, we know that they chose to get married in the fall because they "don't want to sweat," we know Stassi's ex Jax Taylor is a groomsman (according to Jax), we know both Lisa Vanderpump and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave may be at the wedding, we know Kristen Doute's invitation is still TBD, and we know that there will likely be a prenup.

Well, now we have even more information about one of the biggest Bravo weddings of the year. Stassi sat down with The Daily Dish podcast and revealed some more updates.

Apparently, Beau is enjoying the planning process — perhaps a bit too much. "He wants to be way more involved than one would think. Like, he gets irritated when he’s not CCed on wedding emails," Stassi revealed.

And whatever planning he is involved in he should maybe feel grateful for, as Stassi has barred her own mom from participating. "She tries, she texts, she calls, 'Can I help?' I’m like, no. No. No. My wedding planners are handling it and any decision that needs to be made, you raised a very decisive person. I don’t need any help. Too many cooks in the kitchen just stresses me out," she explained.

One decision that's already been made: the officiant. At BravoCon 2019, Stassi confirmed that they had decided against having LVP officiate, as their close friends Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz did in 2016, saying, "It's been done." So while we didn't get the name of the chosen officiant, Stassi did drop a few hints as to this person's identity: "It’s not a famous person, but we have our officiant. You probably know of this person, but I don’t know. I haven’t said it yet, so right now is not the time," she said. Consider us curious!

Of course, Stassi isn't the only one planning a 2020 wedding: Lala Kent and Randall Emmett's wedding is scheduled for April 18. And while Stassi is enjoying planning her wedding alongside Lala, they have experienced one major clash: When Lala decided she wanted her bridesmaids to wear white, just as Stassi had planned.

While Lala had originally shot down the idea of having a wedding party in all white, "her stylist, then the following day, convinced her that having white bridesmaids dresses is what’s cool and chic and so then Lala’s like, 'Fine, I’ll do that,' and that is what really just enraged me and I’m like, 'No, absolutely not.' She goes, 'I pay my stylist to tell me what’s cool.' I’m like, 'Cool, well, I already knew what was cool and this is something I was passionate about and you said you would never do that. Like, f--- your stylist,'" Stassi recalled. (Can you guess who won this battle?)
