Southern Hospitality’s Mia Alario Addresses the Situation with Shep and Taylor
During WWHL, following the Southern Hospitality season finale, Mia discussed finding herself in the middle of the Southern Charm exes.
In the final moments of the Season 1 finale of Southern Hospitality, a lingering mystery from Season 8 of Southern Charm was solved.
As fans will recall, during the Southern Charm Season 8 reunion, Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green addressed the ups and downs of their relationship, including a rumor about how he had allegedly tried to kiss someone who works for Leva Bonaparte at Republic.
“I don’t remember,” Shep said during the reunion that aired last year about the alleged encounter. “I was drunk and I didn’t know about any of the other stuff until a week later when the girl DM’d Taylor and said, ‘Shep was hitting on me pretty hard.’”
When Andy Cohen asked if that was “the straw that broke the camel’s back” and led to Taylor and Shep’s breakup, Taylor simply said, “Yeah.”
In the January 23 episode of Southern Hospitality, it was finally revealed that the person was, by accounts, Mia Alario. An end card featured on the episode noted, “And who was Leva’s employee? Once again, Mia was caught in the middle.”
Following the Southern Hospitality finale, Mia appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and shared more details on the situation with Shep, saying that it “unfortunately” happened. She went on to explain why she reached out to Taylor at the time: “He knew that I’m not the one. I’m the one to tell your girlfriend.”
Taylor confirmed her split from Shep during an episode of WWHL last August. Since the breakup, Taylor has been keeping fans up to date on her life, sharing with them about her new dog, new job, family, and more.
