Madison LeCroy Marries Brett in Mexico: "When You Know You Know"
The Southern Charm bride married Brett and now we know what might be next for the newlyweds.
Pop the champs! Southern Charm's Madison LeCroy is officially married. Madison married Brett on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at an intimate ceremony in Mexico. Page Six posted photos from the event and the publication also reported that her son, Hudson, served as a ring bearer and he stood by the couple during the ceremony. Us Weekly also confirmed the wedding news as did PEOPLE, who had an exclusive with the bride.
Southern Charm fans were later treated an inside look at her wedding after-party, which was featured in the Season 9 premiere of the series (more on that below).
Details on Madison LeCroy's Wedding
Days before they married, there was some confusion about if they had already wed before landing in Mexico when she posted photos of what looked to be from a wedding ceremony. While her rep noted in a statement to Page Six at the time that it was a photoshoot, several publications did also report that the day held more significance for the couple as they also reportedly exchanged vows at a courthouse ceremony.
"It’s the final countdown… 11.19.22," she wrote in one Instagram post around the time, adding in another post, "Get in honey, we’re going to Mexico. Literally last week my family showed a video of my 5 yr old self singing this song we all had chills… when you know you know."
Details on Madison LeCroy's Wedding Dress
Madison wore a white cap-sleeve gown by Reem Acra that featured numerous small floral embroidered details.
Who Is Madison LeCroy's Husband, Brett Randle?
The wedding comes about a year after Madison confirmed her engagement to Brett in October 2021; they had revealed their relationship earlier that year. “It was a very special moment for my family," she said at the time of the engagement. "We traveled a good bit around the world, and I kinda thought it would possibly happen then, but I think it happens when you least expect it. He involved my son [Hudson, who] is a huge part of my life, and we’ve been crying for the last week because we’ve been overwhelmed with the excitement.”
This is the second marriage for Madison (she co-parents her son Hudson with her ex). And Southern Charm fans will recall that prior to her relationship with Brett, she had been in a dramatic on-again, off-again relationship with Austen Kroll, who later shared his reaction to her engagement during Season 8.
When speaking to The Daily Dish for an interview during Season 8 of Southern Charm, she revealed what makes her relationship with Brett different from her previous ones. “I would say my relationship now is completely opposite of any relationship I’ve ever had. He has a level of respect for me and as I do for him," she said. "And with that being said, what a difference. I have not been treated so well. And I am very blessed.”
As for what might be next for the couple now that they've wed, she shared in a separate interview with The Daily Dish that she is definitely considering expanding her family. "You know, I’m most excited for our future. I know we’re going to have more kids one day. I’m excited about that. I’m just excited to feel successful in this because, you know, in the south you’re raised like life’s about family. You get married very young and you start a family and that’s what life’s about, and I still cling on to that. I still want that," she revealed earlier this year. "To finally feel like I have that and I’m really close to growing that, is something to look forward to."
Madison's wedding after-party in Southern Charm Season 9 premiere
On the Season 9 premiere of Southern Charm, Madison and Brett hosted a “wedding after-party” in Charleston for their loved ones who didn’t attend the nuptials. “We had a really small wedding, just Brett’s whole family and my family,” Madison explained in an interview during the episode, which aired on September 14. “So we wanted to have a party just so I could celebrate with friends in Charleston.”
