Craig Conover Expresses Uncertainty About His and Paige DeSorbo's Future: “I Just Don’t Know the Map”
The Southern Charm-er isn’t holding back his feelings about his relationship with Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo.
Will Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo ever take their relationship to the next level?
It’s been two years since the Southern Charm-er and his Summer House girlfriend first started dating, and in that time, we’ve seen the tem tackle many conversations about the future of their love lives. And while the couple aren’t exactly ready to move across state lines for each other or say “I Do” yet, that doesn’t mean Craig isn’t constantly thinking about what the future holds for him and Paige.
The Sewing Down South founder expressed his feelings about his long-distance relationship with fellow Southern Charm-er Rodrigo Reyes on the November 10 episode. Read on for details on their conversation.
Craig Conover’s concerns about his relationship with Paige DeSorbo
On Season 9, Episode 9, during a quick fishing excursion, Rodrigo and Craig discussed when Paige would settle down in Charleston.
“I’m sitting around waiting for her to decide if she’ll be ready to move in together,” Craig told Rodrigo. “I guess, I just don’t know the map.”
Craig went on to share with Rodrigo that he wants to get married and be a father because he's already past the age when his parents started their family.
“I just turned 35,” he said. “My parents had me and my brother at 28 and 29. Like, I’m six years past where they started.”
With Craig’s “biological clock” steadily ticking it made him question if Paige is actually the one. “My future has always consisted of like a family with kids,” Craig explained to Rodrigo.
He continued: “Like, what do I want more: do I want to be with Paige and be patient to eventually have that family with her, or do I want the family so bad that I’m going to leave like the love of my life?”
At this point, Rodrigo seemed taken aback by Craig’s feelings, which he followed up by asking, “You want to have children with someone who’s not the love of your life?”
As for Craig’s response? “No, and I don’t. I’ll never settle, but it does feel like we’re spinning in circles a little bit,” he admitted.
How are Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo doing today?
Craig and Paige’s love story is still thriving. In fact, the two recently took a major step in their relationship at BravoCon 2023.
On Day 3 of the event, Craig revealed during the “It’s All About to Go South” panel that his and Paige's family finally met for the first time. “They met at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas," he told the crowd.
That wasn’t the only big news that Craig disclosed at BravoCon. He also shared that they have been talking about marriage. “I hope to propose one day. She actually mentioned eloping here because of both of our families are here at BravoCon,” said Craig. “We’ll see, and what’s neat is we get to share it with everyone else,” Craig added.
