Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green Reveal Where They Stand Today

If the Southern Charm Season 9 premiere made one thing clear, it's that Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green are in a much different place than they were last season.
Since then, the two have not only gone their separate ways, but also clashed over rumors that are set to play a big role in the rest of Season 9.
Where do Shep and Taylor stand today, though? Both cast members recently answered this very question. For the latest on where the exes stand, keep reading.
How Shep Rose Feels About Taylor Ann Green Today
According to Shep, his current relationship with Taylor is "good."
As he told HollywoodLife in a September 14 interview, "I choose to take the high road as much as I can in this life, and I care about her a lot. I always will. And I think that’s mutual."
That said, Shep and Taylor are still keeping their distance for the most part. "[W]e haven’t really gotten into each other’s private lives as far as other companions or whatnot or dating scene. That’s probably good for now. I hope one day we could," Shep said. "I’m still close with her parents. I text with her mom every now and then, and I text with Taylor, too. She’s a big reason of the mosaic of who I am. She’s a major piece of that quilt, you know, and I respect that and love that. I would never turn my back on her. I would give her the zebra shirt off my back."
How Taylor Ann Green Feels About Shep Rose Today
Taylor shared a similar sentiment, but with the caveat that the Southern Charm friend group as a whole is "obviously gonna have to revisit some things at [the] reunion."
"But I think that at the end of the day, we’re all good friends genuinely," she added in her own HollywoodLife interview.
As for her relationship with Shep specifically, Taylor said they are "on good terms now."
Referring to their split, she explained, "I really didn’t want it to affect me. I find myself to be a really strong, independent person. And when you break it down, I’m actually, like, not at all. I let my emotions get the best out of me probably more times than I should have this year. It’s definitely, again, really tough going into it, and then you’ll kind of see it play through."
Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green's Love Lives
It seems as though Shep and Taylor are both moving on and dating other people. Shep, for his part, said, "I’ve been on some good dates and met some really interesting people from different places. Not within Charleston, that’s for sure."
Does he ever see himself setting down into a "serious relationship" relationship, though? That sort of commitment isn't on the "immediate horizon," but he's not ruling it out forever.
Taylor, meanwhile, said, "I am dating. He is very cute. He’s very sweet, and things are going really well."
