Shep Rose Reveals He and Taylor Were "Like a Married Couple" Early in Their Relationship
The Southern Charm cast member admits he was "kind of nervous about it."
Love is in the air in Charleston! On the October 29 Season 7 premiere of Southern Charm, Shep Rose introduced the world to his new girlfriend, Taylor Ann Green. Shep credited his new romance for some major changes in his life, noting, “I’m sort of finding my feet with Taylor ‘cause I’ve been so single minded — and single — for so long that it’s hard to change. But she’s making it very easy to change, which is kind of the whole point.”
Shep opened up to share more details about his relationship, and how it has resulted in some changes in him, on the November 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. When asked, “What makes Taylor different from all of the other women you’ve dated? She seems like a keeper,” Shep explained, “Yeah, she’s a really kind person. And everybody loves her. She arguably, Craig will tell ya, arguably my friends like her more than me. I just love seeing her sort of navigate all of my friends because she wins everyone over immediately, and that’s a really cool quality.”
In response to a question about how he is navigating monogamy, the longtime bachelor explained that it’s been much easier than he had imagined.
“I mean, we were quarantined together, which made it quite easy,” he said. “Honestly, we were like a married couple two or three months into our relationship, so that was a change, and I was kind of nervous about it. And I must say, domesticity isn’t all that bad, and maybe I was being scared of it for no reason at all.”
