Shannon Beador's O.C. Mansion Is for Sale
The 'RHOC' star has listed her impressive home designed for "healthful living."
Start saving up! Looks like Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador and husband David are looking for some new digs—and their impressive home can be yours.
The couple is selling their glamorous Newport Coast, California home for $12,998,000. Designed by Richard Krantz, the six-bedroom mansion includes an elevator for residents to get between the home's four floors, as well as an indoor basketball court, pool, gym, home theater and guest house. It also has a gate to keep out unwanted visitors. Other attractions in the home include two kitchens and 11 bathrooms. The home sits on over a half acre of property, Realty Today adds. The listing, according to Realtor.com, also notes that the impressive mansion, built in a European Country-mansion design, was built with "non-toxic materials for healthful living."
Last year, Shannon opened up about the home's unique design choice. "We have hospital grade air," she shared about the air and carbon filtering systems in the house. "Even though we tried to make the house as non-toxic as possible, still chemicals are going to come in. So we wanted to make sure we took those out with a carbon filter."
Shannon was inspired to live a healthier lifestyle after she became a mom and she later used that passion to design the house.
"When I started to have children, I started to take a bigger interest in providing the most natural environment for my children," she explained. "So we hired a green consultant and he kind of helped guide us along the way."
While David and Shannon prepare to settle their family in some new digs, the couple have been out-and-about. Last week, they shared an adorable selfie together. Days later, they were out on the town with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Mauricio Umansky, and Ken Todd.
