How Scheana, Kyle, and Amanda are Putting a Positive Spin on Carl and Lindsay’s Canceled Wedding
The Vanderpump Rules cast member revealed how the trio (and her husband Brock!) will be spending what was supposed to be Carl and Lindsay's wedding weekend during BravoCon 2023.
On day one of BravoCon on Nov. 3, Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay shared how she and other Bravolebs are turning proverbial lemons into lemonade after a Summer House couple called off their nuptials.
The revelation came during an interview panel chat called "STEWS vs. SUR," which was moderated by Jenny Pulos, who’s known for Flipping Out and the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen theme song.
There, Scheana was joined by fellow Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney as well as Below Deck Down Under's Aesha Scott, Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Daisy Kelliher, and Below Deck's Fraser Olander.
As part of the interview panel, Jenny asked if anyone had group chats going on with other Bravolebs, and this prompted Scheana to name-drop pals Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula. More specifically, she said, "I do have one with Kyle and Amanda right now, because we’re all still going to Mexico in a couple of weeks."
Fans already know that Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke planned to tie the knot in Mexico this fall; however, they officially canceled the wedding and called off their engagement last month. As Scheana implied, the canceled nuptials aren't stopping her and her friends from heading South of the border. “Yeah, it was already booked,” she said about their travel plans. “It was paid for. We're still going to Mexico.”
The vibe is the more the merrier for Kyle and Amanda, who tied the knot in Sept. 2021, as well as Scheana and her husband, Brock Davies.
“None of us ever took a honeymoon,” said Scheana. “So we’re, like, this is our unofficial buddymoon.”
