Scheana Shay Responds to Fans Speculating That She and Brock Davies Are Engaged

While Scheana Shay and boyfriend Brock Davies remain in relationship bliss as they prepare to welcome their first child together, a baby girl, this spring, many are wondering if marriage is also in the couple's future. In fact, some fans are speculating that Brock had recently popped the question to Scheana while out at a restaurant.

Scheana addressed the speculation in a tweet on March 1. "For the record .... NOT engaged!" she said.

In regards to what some fans thought to be a proposal, Scheana clarified, "I was with my family at brunch. Wasn’t even close to the 'Marry Me' sign, nor was Brock there. Lol. But also, if it was true.... I should be the one to post about it and announce. Just a thought."

Scheana also addressed whether she and Brock plan to tie the knot in the future. "We are very happy having this baby and starting a family together which is more than enough right now," she tweeted. "No rush for us both to get remarried."

Scheana shared a similar sentiment about the possibility of Brock proposing as the couple answered fan questions in a vlog on her YouTube channel in January. “I don’t know, and I don’t care. Honestly, I mean, we’re having a baby, and I’m happy about that. We both have been down that road before. Been there, done that, so I’m not in a rush to get married again," she explained. "I think eventually, we’ll get engaged and have a longer engagement, but I don’t think there’s any rush on getting married.” 

These days, Scheana and Brock have busy getting ready to welcome their daughter, who is due to arrive in April. That has included a dreamy maternity photo shoot, a babymoon in Hawaii, a glam baby shower, and, of course, setting up "Mini Scheana's" very first Instagram account.
