Scheana Says Sandoval Needs to “Shut the F-ck Up” About His Bills with Ariana
The estranged couple have a lot to say when it comes to they pets they adopted when still romantically involved.
Vanderpump Rules’ Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval might have had their breakup put on full display before the world, but quite a bit still needs to be ironed out between the live-in exes.
During the Vanderpump Rules After Show for Season 11, Episode 10, Scheana Shay chimed in about the mounting tensions between Ariana and Tom, which reached a boiling point during a beach party with the rest of the cast. At the forefront of the fight were bills paid for the separate adoptions of a dog and cat, taken in while the couple were still romantically involved.
“I just think Sandoval needs to learn how to shut the f-ck up about the bills, about who did what, who said what … it doesn’t matter,” said Scheana. “You hurt her in more ways than one. She didn’t pay her electric bill last month. Who f-cking cares?”
Ariana and Tom Fight Over Bills and Pets
At the beach, Tom Schwartz commented that Ariana and Tom were great parents to their pit bull mix, Mya Moon Madix, and their cat, Kitty, which didn’t go down well for the former couple.
“Well, I’m a dog and cat parent,” Ariana told the group. “I paid the adoption fees.”
“It was the one bill Ariana paid,” Tom responded.

Some in the group, including Brock Davies and James Kennedy, didn’t think it was as much a matter of Sandoval wanting the pets, but rather, just Sandoval “f-cking being argumentative and being an assh-le,” James said.
“He would love for everyone in the world to think that I’m the big, bad wolf, and he’s just like ‘poor Little Red Riding Hood [who] had to put up with her for so long,’” Ariana said alongside Katie Maloney. “I don’t do sh-t, I just — you know, in the nine months since we broke up — managed to write a book, be third place on Dancing with the Stars, get my ass on Broadway… Yeah, I don’t do sh-t. [I] just did all that.”
Ariana continued, “He would love for me to be run away out of this group and out of this town and out of him having to answer for his own actions.”
Does Tom Sandoval want to keep the pets?
“Tom doesn’t want Kitty or Mya,” James continued in the After Show. “They’re Ariana’s pets, though… You can kind of tell. It’s not rocket science, like, you can kind of tell with most cases which one belongs with who.”
Sandoval acknowledged that Ariana probably had more rights to Kitty, given that she rescued the cat from a parking lot in New Jersey when it was just a kitten. However, it didn’t take away that Sandoval “did really take care of Kitty a lot” during their nine-year relationship, he said.
The estranged couple’s dog was at the center of a lot of drama after Sandoval accidentally left the pup in Ariana’s bedroom. The dog got into some of Ariana’s food and had to be rushed to the vet. (Thankfully, Mya is just fine).
Ariana didn’t believe Sandoval left Mya by accident, but Sandoval said he still has warm feelings for the animal.
“We got Mya together, and I named her,” said Sandoval. “Mya and I have had such a very special relationship, and we would cuddle in the morning, we played hide and seek, played all kinds of games, and I love Mya.”
Sandoval felt that Mya was just as much his as he was Ariana’s, despite Ariana paying the $300 or $400 in adoption-related expenses.
“I paid the bills for the house the past, you know, nine months. Do I own the house now?” Sandoval said. “That’d be cool.”
