Scheana Defends Her and Brock's Finances: "It Doesn’t Matter Who’s Making the Money"
Plus, Scheana Shay explains why Brock Davies' unwavering "support" for their family is more important than financial contributions.
On Season 11, Episode 13 of Vanderpump Rules, Brock Davies opened up to his friend Luke about the tension in his marriage with Scheana Shay, partly due to her being the “main breadwinner” for the family.
While Brock struggled with the fact that his wife was bringing in most of the household income, Scheana made it clear on the Vanderpump Rules After Show (released during Season 11 which aired earlier this year) that she didn’t mind covering her family’s finances.
“When I met Brock, he had a flexible schedule. He worked full-time, was at the gym every day, but he kind of made his own hours,” Scheana said of her husband’s past career. “That’s the lifestyle we’ve built together… I love that we’re able to work together so much.”
The "Good as Gold" singer explained that even though Brock is figuring out his next career move, he isn’t just spending all her money. “People seem to think he is this terrible person who’s just living off me,” Scheana said. “First of all, he is the hardest worker out of any person I’ve ever been with in my life. He does so much. He is so ambitious; he is so driven.”

Brock Davies details his new career path
When a producer asked about Brock's future career plans, he revealed his interest in expanding his involvement in the entertainment industry. “TV, production, [and] movies… it’s Hollywood, right? And it’s what we’re in the room [with] when we’re meeting these people,” Brock elaborated. “So I think I would be a fool not to try and capitalize on this opportunity and figure out how it works.”
Scheana also gave an update on what Brock has been working on lately, saying, "He has two shows that he's developing right now."
Scheana Shay on why her marriage with Brock Davies isn’t all about finances
Though Scheana is excited about her husband’s upcoming projects, she clarified that their marriage focuses on more than just who brings in the money. “Support comes in more ways than just financial. It doesn’t matter who’s making the money,” she stated. “We’re a team at the end of the day, and there may be a day when it completely changes, you know, and the roles reverse.”
Additionally, Scheana praised Brock's involvement in raising their daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, which is important to her. “The fact that he’s able to be with Summer as much as he is and he’s so good with her, working on letters and numbers and sounds and all of these things, it’s not like he’s just sitting at home watching f-cking Disney,” she noted.
