Salley Carson Recounts Her Past Romances with Shep and Gaston: “Cheating the Whole Time”
The new Southern Charm-er shared details on her past experiences with Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green's current boyfriend, Gaston Rojas.
In the Southern Charm Season 10 trailer, newcomer Salley Carson dropped some shocking news about her ties to the group: "Taylor [Ann Green]'s new boyfriend is my ex ... And, like, I slept with Shep [Rose]." Now, Salley is sharing new details on her experiences with Shep and Gaston Rojas.
While out for a stroll with fellow Bravo newbie Molly O’Connell during Season 10, Episode 3, Salley first detailed her hookup with Shep. More specifically, what happened after her hookup with Shep. “It was like two o'clock in the morning, and then he wouldn’t leave,” Salley explained. “I was like, Shep, I’m getting you an Uber. Shep, like, I’m sorry ... you’re just not the kind of guy I see myself with.”
"I'm not saying I regret it or anything," she added in a confessional. "But I definitely was not bragging about it."
However, she's not quite as neutral when talking about Gaston.
“I obviously don’t have anything good to say about him,” Salley said after Molly mentioned that Taylor might bring her beau to an upcoming event. “But that’s my story. That might not be Taylor’s story.”
“Me and Gaston, we dated for three months," she stated in a confessional. "Like, he was my person, and I thought I was his. But, like, he was cheating the whole time."
And while Salley said she was happy to "bond" with Taylor in the future, she’d rather not see her boyfriend. We'll see how that goes!
Who is Salley Carson?
According to the announcement for Season 10, "Salley is the latest to grace Charleston’s vibrant social scene. She’s a bubbly party girl by night and a robotics technician for surgical procedures by day. The debutante is gorgeous, intelligent, and independent, and she shares a curiously parallel romantic past with Taylor."
Bravo fans might remember Salley from Southern Hospitality, where she found herself caught in a little love triangle with Joe Bradley and Gaston. Republic, Leva Bonaparte's restaurant featured on the show, is also where Molly and Salley first met.
“We both were doing like front door VIP, but she always got to leave early because she’s got this pretty legitimate job teaching surgeons how to use surgical robots," the model explained during Episode 3.
Taylor Ann Green's connections to Shep Rose and Gaston Rojas
As Southern Charm viewers know, Shep and Taylor began dating in 2020 and split two years later. In the fall of 2023, Taylor entered into her relationship with Gaston.
"Gaston is my better half," Taylor shared on the Season 10 premiere. "I love that he listens to me and he respects me, as like, a human and not just a pretty girl."
