Candiace Dillard Bassett Reveals Where She Stands with Robyn Dixon

Candiace Dillard Bassett and Robyn Dixon’s friendship appears to be at a standstill.
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3 cast member revealed as much in a new interview with ET, explaining, “I don’t know what is left to say to Robyn. I have reached out to her, I do have a lot of feelings.”
“I can be disappointed in her and also empathize with where she is, and that’s where I am,” Candiace added, “but she’s slowly showing me where we are in our friendship, and I know how to take a hint — and once I take the hint, I’m quiet.”
Robyn has been quiet herself, as Candiace claimed that The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member hasn’t replied to any of her attempts to talk. The two castmates, as fans may recall, weren’t in a bad place at the RHOP Season 7 reunion, but that was before Robyn revealed on her and Gizelle Beauvais’ podcast, Reasonably Shady, that Juan Dixon had communicated with a woman he met on Instagram during the pandemic.
Shortly after the reveal, Candiace expressed that she was upset that Robyn had chosen not to discuss the drama on the show. Andy Cohen asked Robyn to elaborate on the decision to omit the situation during a special Watch What Happens Live sit-down, and she explained that by the time filming for Season 7 had started, in March 2022, she and Juan had already moved on.
In fact, they “actually felt stronger” about their relationship than before. As a result, “I just chose to not bring up something that we had already worked through months prior,” Robyn said, later adding, “I mean, there’s two people involved here, so I do have to take into consideration that being on this show is not easy for the men.”
During the WWHL special, Robyn also set the record straight on exactly what went down between Juan and the woman he had been talking to. “There was no affair. He communicated with her — which he shouldn’t have — and that was it,” she said. “There was no relationship, no affair, no dating, and nothing physical.”
The special aired in February following the conclusion of RHOP Season 7. Both Candiace and Gizelle are currently cast members on RHUGT Season 3.
